Two Parks and a Free Promenade
The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim has three places to shop. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure face each other across the Main Entrance Esplanade, and each has its own run of shops. You need a valid ticket and a park reservation for that park and date to reach them. The Downtown Disney District sits just outside the gates, and Disney's own page says you can enjoy it without a theme park ticket. Disney lists the district open daily from 7am to 1am (7am to 11pm on Thursdays), though individual shops and restaurants keep their own hours.
Below are the shops worth knowing in each, where they are and what they sell. Hours here are the ones Disney's pages showed when we checked. They change by date, so check the Disneyland app before you go.
Main Street and Beyond
Main Street, U.S.A. is where most people shop, because you walk it on the way in and on the way out. Emporium (Main Street, U.S.A.) is styled as a turn-of-the-century store, and Disney says it has the largest selection of souvenirs in the park: ear headbands and hats, pins and autograph books, T-shirts and fleece, toys and plush, mugs and home décor, plus snacks, sundries and batteries. You can also trade pins with cast members here. Disney's page lists it open 8am to 11pm.
For something you can't buy online, go to Disneyana (Main Street, U.S.A., near the entrance). It is a gallery of artwork inspired by the park's attractions, events and anniversaries: paintings, framed art, sculpture, and limited-edition and original pieces. Artists also draw animation-style sketches while you wait. Next door in spirit, Silhouette Studio (Main Street, U.S.A.) cuts custom silhouette portraits of your family or your pets, and can work from a side-profile photo. Frames are optional. Both list 8am to 11pm.
Disney's directory also shows Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen on Main Street for sweets, Main Street Magic Shop for toys and tricks, and New Century Jewelry. Deeper in the park, Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland carries apparel, gifts, ears and toys, and New Orleans Square has Cristal d'Orleans for glass and housewares and Mlle. Antoinette's Parfumerie for fragrance.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge turns shopping into an activity. At Droid Depot (Black Spire Outpost) you register with the clerk, pick up a basket and a parts blueprint, and build a BB-series, C-series or R-series droid at the workstations. It also sells model kits, premade droids and accessories. Savi's Workshop is where you build a lightsaber, and Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities sells collectibles and art. For robes and outfits, try Black Spire Outfitters.
Buena Vista Street and the Lands
The park's main shopping street is Buena Vista Street, just inside the gate. Elias & Co. (Buena Vista Street) is the anchor, built to look like a classic Los Angeles department store. It sells apparel, jewelry and accessories: graphic T-shirts, seasonal styles and jewelry for the whole family. It lists 8am to 10pm. Also on Buena Vista Street, Trolley Treats sells sweets, and Julius Katz & Sons carries art, gifts and pins. Oswald's, styled as a vintage gas station, sells apparel and ears.
In San Fransokyo Square, San Fransokyo Maker's Market is set up as a salvage yard for robots from the night before's matches, with apparel, art, gifts and pins. Its listed hours are shorter, 10am to 8pm. Pan-Pacific Pin Traders, in the same area, is the park's pin stop.
Elsewhere, Rushin' River Outfitters has California-themed apparel and gifts near Grizzly River Run, Radiator Springs Curios and Ramone's House of Body Art sell apparel and collectibles in Cars Land, WEB Suppliers carries apparel, toys and pins in Avengers Campus, and Seaside Souvenirs is the open-air stop for sunglasses, ears, toys and snacks.
No Ticket Needed
World of Disney is the reason most people come. Disney says it has the biggest selection of Disney merchandise on the West Coast, with a full wall of T-shirts, an animated wall and pencil sketches by one of the studio's early animators. It sells apparel, caps, ears and headbands, home décor, jewelry, mugs, plush and toys, stationery and pins, and lists 8am to midnight. It is now the only store at the resort with merchandise mobile checkout (more below).
WonderGround Gallery sells Disney-themed home décor, original art, collectibles and clothing, and a sketch artist draws one-of-a-kind pieces you can buy on the spot (9am to midnight). Disney Wonderful World of Sweets has an exhibition kitchen you can watch from the promenade, with churro toffee, caramel apples, lollipops and fresh caramel popcorn (9am to 11pm). Avengers Reserve carries superhero collectibles, comics, apparel and role-play toys. Disney Home, Disney Storyland Boutique, The D-Lander Shop, Star Wars Trading Post and Disney's Pin Traders, a kiosk near the monorail station, round out the Disney stores.
The non-Disney shops are a short list. Disney's directory shows The LEGO Store, Sephora, lululemon, PANDORA Jewelry (with Disney and Pixar charm bracelets), Lovepop for pop-up greeting cards, Nectar Life for dessert-themed bath products, Curl Surf, Pelé Soccer and Sunglass Hut. Theme Park Shark's June 2026 update says this Nectar Life is the first with a customization bar.
Where to Eat
Disney's Downtown Disney page lists Din Tai Fung for Taiwanese dumplings, Paseo, chef Carlos Gaytán's Mexican restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby for British classics, and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. For something quicker, Parkside Market is the district's first food hall, with Seoul Sister (Korean with a California touch), GG's Chicken Shop and Parkside Market Coffee. Theme Park Shark's June 2026 update also lists Earl of Sandwich, Happy Ice for Philadelphia-style Italian ice and Cathy's Cookies, and reports a Porto's Bakery & Cafe under construction.
Checkout, Package Check and Shipping
Mobile checkout: In the Disneyland app you scan an item's barcode, pay on your phone and skip the register line, then a cast member checks your purchase at a station in the store. In February 2026 Disneyland dropped it at Emporium and Elias & Co., leaving World of Disney as the only store with it.
Package check: Disney no longer sends purchases to the front of the park. In a planDisney answer, a panelist said you can instead leave merchandise for the day at select shops, and that the closest spot to the gates is the Disneyland Resort Stroller Shop on the Esplanade. Disneyland Daily's January 2026 guide says the service is free for all guests and covers non-food items bought at the resort. Confirm the pickup time with the cast member when you drop off.
Shipping: Disney's mail services page says the Bell Desk at each resort hotel ships pre-packed, pre-labeled packages at regular rates.
Parking and Trams
Disney's parking page lists $40 a day for a car at the two theme park parking structures, including Pixar Pals, where a tram takes you to the Main Entrance Esplanade, and at the Toy Story lot, where buses do the same. Preferred parking is $60.
If you only want Downtown Disney, use the Simba Lot, off Disneyland Drive between West Katella Avenue and Pixar Place Hotel. The first hour is $10. Spend $20 at any Downtown Disney location for 3 more validated hours, or get up to 5 more hours with validation from a table-service restaurant. After that it's $14 an hour, up to $66 a day. Resort hotel restaurants don't validate here.
